2 weeks ago, I played bowling with a couple of friends, and it was really fun. I played three games and averaged about 140, which is bad, but I managed to win. Ok, ok. That's not important.
The next week, I played bowling again, but this time with other friends who play often and take this sport seriously. They play in a league, practice a lot, and challenge each others.
That day, my average score was about 180, and I played a game of 200. That's when it hitted me. I was better because my friends were raising the bar for all of us.
I believe the same is true for investing and money in general. If you hang out with people who wants to be good at it, it will influence you, and you will become good at it too.
